Immaculate Conception Parish – Project 8

The Immaculate Conception Parish is on an elevated ground, with the elevation starting on its gates. The church has a triangular roof and a smaller bell tower with a pyramidal roof and with a cross on top. The church structure is mostly white with blue on the roof, near the windows, and the protrusion above the main entrance.

Photo Gallery

The sanctuary of Immaculate Conception Parish is mostly white with gold tone highlights. Its shape is that of a domed tower with white altarpiece in front of the wall. A goldtone half-disc sun-like decoration with seven rays radiating upward and sideways is on the top center of the altarpiece or reredos. Below the sun-like decoration is a crucifix with blue light coming from its back. The tabernacle is below the crucifix: a compartment with a dome top and two goldtone statues of angels on its left and right. On left and right of the crucifix (as seen from the nave) are smaller compartments containing the statues of Joseph and Mary respectively. Mary is in white and blue and has a crown made of stars. Joseph is in yellow and green, holds a staff, and has goldtone halo radiating from the back of his head. The altar is in front of the tabernacle and is covered with a white cloth. On the left of the altar is a white lectern with goldtone decorations of lion, ox, eagle, and man with wings. A microphone stand, a smaller podium, and three white chairs are seen on the right of the altar.A large statue of Jesus depicts him sitting on blue and white clouds while holding a blue orb, possibly a representation of Earth, with his left hand, while his right hand extends diagonally upward. He is wearing white and red here with gold lining near the ends. A goldtone triangle is on the wall aligned to the head of Jesus. Two white pillars are on the sides of Jesus.A large portrait of Jesus with white and red lights emanating from his sacred heart is on top of a red pedestal. Jesus has one hand on his chest, and the other hand raised slightly upward on the level of his face while his elbow is pointing downward. A bright halo seems to emanate from the back of his head. The frame is brown and goldtone. Three potted plants are on the podium in front of the portrait.A statue of St. John Vianney shows him praying in Amen pose while looking up. He has long hair that reaches up to his neck. He is wearing a black internal cassock and on top of it, white surplice with goldtone lining at the end of sleeves. He is also wearing a violet stole over his shoulders. A candle with a live flame is in front of the statue.A tall and narrow stained glass shows Mary on clouds with three angels in front of her feet and yellow rays radiating from the top. Also seen in this picture is the loft at the back of the nave with what looks like a statue of resurrected Jesus attached to it. The paintings on the wall on the sides of the stained glass show various things but the wall is darker, so they are barely visible. These things are Mary talking to an angel; two hands holding a rosary; maps of France, Italy, and Spain; a wooden ship; priest giving a sermon, a gray church that looks like Manila Cathedral, and a group of cardinals with yellow mitres.
