San Pedro Bautista – Dos Hermanas, Talisay

The structure of San Pedro Bautista is mainly white with maroon on some of the pillars. It is a simple building with two levels. There are rectangular windows on both levels. The main entrance is a white steel gate. The roof is curved and on its top is a cross made of steel trusses.

The sanctuary of San Pedro Bautista Parish is beige in front and two of the pillars, while white on the roof and side walls. At the front center, on the wall, is an image of the ascended Christ in clouds, raising his right hand while his left hand is tilted backward. On the left and right parts of the sanctuary (as seen from the nave) are statues of Mary in pink and blue carrying baby Jesus in white and Joseph in brown and green carrying a similar baby Jesus. There is one brown wood lectern on the left a few steps away in front of Mary's statue. The altar at the center is draped with white and purple cloth. On the right of the altar are three brown candle stand and on the right of them is a statue of St. Peter Baptist carrying two spears with one hand and a large wooden cross with another hand.A statue of St. Peter Baptist on a wooden stand inside the San Pedro Bautista Parish. St. Peter is wearing a brown robe with a rope belt typical to that of Franciscans. He is carrying a large cross made of cylindrical woods with his right hand.A grayscale image of Jesus showing his sacred heart inside a frame, which is on an iron stand. The stand has a semicircular arch on which the frame can lean. The grayscale image is semi-oblong with the round part above Jesus' head. The grayscale image is surrounded by goldtone border, which is on a red background that occupies the rest of the frame.A crucifix on a wooden stand is inside the San Pedro Bautista Parish. The brown stand has two levels, with the upper level smaller than the lower one. The cross is of a darker shade of brown compared to the stand. In this statue, Jesus has pale skin color and wrapped by a cloth around the waist. He has dark brown hair and facial hair and wears a dark green crown of thorns.The white ceiling of San Pedro Bautista Parish is decorated with two rows of brown pattern of alternating diamond and elongated hexagon. A chandelier with twelve lamps also hangs from the ceiling.
